Prince of Lost Causes of Familia Atlatl
Domingo is impregnated, pierced to the core, by the conviction of the absolute futility of human aspiration. His view of creation is that the human race will disappear. Other races will appear and disappear. The skies will be glacial and empty, traversed by the stars outside of Creation that will be so far away that only their feeble light remains.
This truth may cause suicide. That is not a terrible outcome. Domingo often wonders if humanity’s true calling is to be pulverized and devoured.
But if life has no meaning, neither does death. Death brings no appeasement. No while humanity needs to die, death is not an answer. What is necessary is to break the wheel. But breaking the wheel is itself futile. This realization is why Domingo is the Prince of Lost Causes and a servant of the Dark.
Domingo has been helping Marjorie (and her familia) meet other families as part of a bargain for access through the Thousand-Fold Forest. He has purposefully selected Roots of the World. He somehow dated a Noble from each of the Roots (borderline Windflower law violation). He has twice been in front of the Locust Court for breaking the Chestnut Law. He was let off both times.
He has more than one agenda, that is clear.
The Estate of Lost Causes
- Lost Causes are hopeless
- Lost Causes have little chance of succeeding
- Lost Causes are political, moral, ethical, artistic. They are the hopeless endeavors of humanity.
- Lost causes are the failures of the world
- Lost Causes are lies we tell ourselves
- Beneficent Hospitality
- Winged Serpent of Death
- Storm Crow: Life itself twists and protects, being corrupted by his presence. People distrust his motives and his aid.
This Antonio Banderas or Esai Morales, with maybe a little bit of young sexy John Leguizamo.
He dresses to the nines, ostentatious but classy. He drives a black 957 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder LWB (enough said).
